Curve Baseball

Last weekend, my brother and his family were in town visiting. Since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to take the kids to a Curve baseball game.

They had a great time bouncing in the inflatable houses together. If it was up to them, I think they would have bounced all night!

Cousin Luke helping Leah and Abby into the bounce house . . .

The kids had a blast running and rolling down the hill.

While everyone else was running and rolling on the hill, Abby was happily playing with dirt and rocks.

After the game, all the kiddos were allowed to go onto the field and run the bases. Luke led the way and the girls quickly followed!

Jaffa Shrine Circus

Last weekend, we took the girls to the Jaffa Shrine Circus. They had a blast! The circus was actually a lot longer than we remembered (3 hours long), but the girls sat through the whole thing. They loved the animals.....especially the elephants! We had great seats. You can't really tell by the pic, but we were actually in the second row.

The girls tried cotton candy for the first time. At first, they both were very unsure of both the texture and taste. Leah had several bits and decided she just didn't like it.

Abby, on the other hand, loved it! She ate most of hers and then tried to eat her sister's as well!

The were both so excited to take an elephant ride. In fact, Abby was quite disappointed when it was over. I can't say the same for her mommy and daddy!

Easter 2009

This year, the silly Easter Bunny left a trail of candy from the girls' bedroom to their Easter baskets and goodies. They were both so excited about their new Micky Mouse Memory Game!

Do you think Abby is a little excited about her chocolate??

The Easter Bunny also hid lots of eggs outside for the girls to find. It was such a beautiful day, but very windy.......however, it didn't seem to bother the girls!

After nap time, we headed over to my parent's house. Ryan's mom and dad also joined us for Easter dinner. The girls were very excited to spend time with all of their grandparents. They were especially excited when they discovered that the Easter Bunny hid even more eggs for them to find!

Cololful Easter Eggs!

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to color Easter eggs with the girls. It was so much fun to watch them choose which color they wanted for their eggs and then "carefully" drop them into the appropriate color. You would literally hear the egg falling into the cup with a clunk and cracking as it hit the bottom! They had so much fun and you could see the excitement written all over their faces as they pulled their beautiful masterpieces from the cups of dye.

Leah eventually decided that her hand was the best tool for removing her eggs from the cups!

After coloring their eggs, the girls decorating them with a variety of stickers. As you can tell, Leah plastered her eggs with Mickey and Minnie Mouse stickers. Are you surprised?

Obviously as you can tell by the above pics, the dye definitely didn't stay in the appropriate cups. In fact, we had quite a few spills and as a result, ended up with some beautifully dyed toes!
Say "Cheese!"

Easter Egg Hunt at Canal Basin Park

Last week, MOMS Club had an Easter egg hunt at Canal Basin Park. It was an absolutely beautiful day and the kids had a great time. Leah and Abby were so excited and couldn't wait for the egg hunt to begin.

Hanging out with daddy . . . .

Racing to fill their baskets . . . .

Testing the candy . . . .
After the egg hunt, all the kiddos had fun playing in the play park . . . .

(I really like this pic, b/c you can see daddy and Abby watching Leah from the top of the slide)
