A Day at the Beach

bili light or tanning bed? HMC is a full service resort.

kaitlyn has been on the bili light for the last 2 days - nothing terrible, just a little higher than the NICU staff would have her ride at. certainly nothing that would cause alarm in a term infant. we're all working on feeding (well, OK, i've been good at it, but Madison, Kaitlyn and mommy are all working hard on getting enough nutrition). Kaitlyn, despite looking like Abby, eats really well. Madison, well, not so much - however some of that is probably expectation - she's being asked to slug down 1.5oz every 3hrs; those of you close to newborns, yeah, a full-termer doesn't often do that -- but they're just making sure she's going to have enough nutrition, grow well and not run into new problems.

overall, all is well. the (?younger, second set, ah, still working on it) girls got moved down the hall to where it appears the "purely feed-n-grow's" hang out. Leah and Abby come back in a much anticipated return tomorrow - stay tuned for more pix of all 4 kiddos together. thank you to everyone for all your prayers, love and support, and goodnight!
