This past weekend, we took a trip to Pittsburgh to join in the fun of celebrating our nephew's birthday. It is so hard for me to believe that he is four years old already!
The wintery weather may have kept him from testing out his new 4-wheeler outdoors, but that didn't stop him from sitting on it non-stop all weekend in the family room. Leah and Abby enjoyed testing it out too!

This afternoon's snowstorm was perfect for taking the girls sledding in the backyard again. It seems like they are growing to love the snow more and more. As always, they are still a little uncertain, but their occasional grin lets us know they are having fun (which is great, since their daddy LOVES this weather!). 
Since yesterday was such a beautiful, sunny day, we decided to take the girls outside to play. As you can see, they seemed to enjoy a change of scenery, as well as the ability to walk up and down the driveway on their own. Even though they had the entire yard and driveway to play in, Leah was mostly interested in walking from the end of the driveway into the street. She definitely kept mommy and daddy on their toes!
Abby and Leah have a great time playing, or should I say pounding, the keys of our piano. They both really seem to love music and especially enjoy when they get to create it! 
It is so hard to believe that it is the girls' second Valentine's Day already! Although to be truthful, I have to admit that I really don't remember their first Valentine's Day. Needless to say, we were still a little sleep deprived! Happy Valentine's Day girls!
This morning when we awoke, we were quite surprised to see the beautiful layer of snow outside. When I took Toby outside, I made a couple of snowballs for the girls to play with inside. As expected, Abby spent most of the time investigating her snowball, while Leah's went straight into the mouth. Yummy!
