One of Abby's favorites things to do while outside is play with dirt and rocks. She is always collecting rocks of all shapes and sizes. She now even has her own rock collection that she plays with inside. Despite all the fun toys in the family room, she always goes for the rocks first!

Cousin Sara's 2nd Birthday
This weekend, we took a trip to Pittsburgh for our niece's 2nd birthday party. While we were there, we decided to take the girls to the Pittsburgh Zoo. They had a great time seeing all of the animals, especially the sea lions. The girls squealed with laughter every time one of the sea lions came swimming towards them.

Young Life Camp
This past week we traveled to Virginia to volunteer at the Rockbridge Young Life Camp. The campus is absolutely beautiful and we had an amazing week. The girls greatly enjoyed themselves, as they experienced all the fun of Young Life for the first time.
The cottage where we lived for the week.
The Springs Center (game room, snack bar, club, etc.)

Having fun in the little creek that ran through campus.
Abby was in heaven playing in water, dirt, and rocks!

Meal time!
The girls waiting with the O'Briens for their meal (along with the 570 other hungry kids). They especially liked when the kids clanged their silverware against their plates in excitement and anticipation of the food (something I've been trying to get them to NOT do at home!). If you look closely, you'll notice that there are cupcakes on the table. This was actually breakfast, but it was Backwards Day on campus, so we had wings, pizza, and cupcakes for breakfast. Gwyn was nice enough to sneak some cereal for the girls!
Abby enjoying her ice cream dessert!
