Barnyard Birthday Bash

This year, to celebrate the girls' second birthday, we decided to have a barnyard bash. Complete with balloons animals, cowgirl hats, barnyard games, and a barn cake, the girls really seemed to have fun at their party. We still can't believe that they are two years old already! We have loved the past two years with these little, special girls, and we never imagined parenthood would be this much fun!

The girls looked so cute in their hats! They actually wore their hats around the house for several weeks leading up to their party; however, when it came time for the big day, they wanted very little to do with their hats!

Ridenour Ice Rink (aka - our driveway)

This past weekend, our driveway accumulated quite a thick layer of ice. In fact, it was so thick that it became Ryan's temporary ice rink. I had to take a couple of pictures.....he was having so much fun!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

This past Tuesday was our little girls' 2nd birthday! Since Daddy was off of work, we had a great day, jam-packed with fun! We started the day by going to Slinky Action Zone and having lunch at Friendly's, and ended the day by opening gifts and having birthday cake. What a great day with our special girls! It is so hard for us to believe that they are already two!

Unfortunately, due to another nasty virus entering our house, we had to postpone the girls' birthday party this weekend. However, we look forward to celebrating with family and friends in a couple of weeks!

Christmas 2008

What a wonderful Christmas! We had such a great time with the girls this year. It was so much fun to see the girls' reactions to all the excitement that comes with Christmas. Our holiday season was definitely packed with activities. Below is just a glimpse of some of our family events leading up to and including Christmas Day.

Throwing our "Reindeer Glitter" in the front yard, so the reindeer would know where to land the sleigh. The glitter was sent to the girls all the way from the North Pole from a very special elf named "Dwebbie."
